This year, the Seton Hall men's basketball team is doing well at home with wins against top Big East teams like Louisville, Pittsburgh, and Notre Dame. Overall, the Pirates have a 5-7 conference record, and a 14-11 season record.
On Feb. 11 the Pirates defeated Notre Dame 90-87 with Jeremy Hazell scoring 35 points and Herb Pope adding 16 points. Jeff Robinson gave the Hall 14 points.
"This was a huge win for our program," said head coach Bobby Gonzalez. "We did well."
Seton Hall got another victory on Feb. 14, beating DePaul 79-71. Herb Pope had 15 rebounds, and Jeff Robinson scored 16.
Meanwhile, at Walsh Gym on Feb. 13, the Lady Pirates lost another Big East game to South Florida 53-38.
