Hello Readers! This week hubby and I went camping! Sleeping in tents, rapid water rafting, Smores, camp fire stories and yes, grilled food! We enjoyed the great outdoors - with most of the comforts of home. We were with some camping enthusiast who had everything and anything you could possibly need. We had a great time and the friends that invited us did an excellent job with preparing all the food ahead of time. All we had to do was start the pit and get to grillin’!
We had chicken wings, steak, shrimp, chicken, ribs and all the sides, corn on the cob, macaroni and cheese, grilled veggies - this was a spread! While all the food was good - I asked our Chief Camper and Grill Master what he used to make his grilling sauce. Aside from a good marinade he brushed a home-made barbeque sauce on his meat - which really made a difference in the taste. Of course, I thought about my readers and how we have officially kicked off the summer season - and grilling and BBQs have begun. So, I’ve pulled out a few BBQ sauce recipes you might want to try when you’re grilling at home.
