Sunrise Detox recently opened its Stirling, New Jersey facility to serve the New York-New Jersey-Connecticut-Pennsylvania metro area.
The Stirling location is the second Sunrise Detox in the country, modeled after the original facility in Palm Beach, Fl. The facility treats individuals for addiction to alcohol, heroine, opiates, methadone and pain medications.
"One of the biggest obstacles to recovery is fear of the withdrawal process," said Sunrise Detox Medical Director Dr. Morgan Poncy. "At Sunrise Detox, we take fear out of the equation by offering the most comfortable environment for recovery we can and providing all of the support necessary to break the cycle of addiction."
The facility provides drug and alcohol detox services in a bed-and-breakfast setting. Clients reside in modern rooms, eat gourmet meals and have access to indoor and outdoor seating areas.
Treatment is administered by an expert medical staff and individual and group counseling sessions are available every day.
A full complement of doctors and staff members administers treatment on-site. Discharge planners work with clients to establish a long-term plan for recovery.
