June 7 - Nicholas Kambitsis, president & CEO of Raceway Petroleum of Piscataway, has raised more than $6,000 for children with cancer and blood disorders by participating in the 2010 Spring Lake 5 Mile Run.

"I never ran more than two miles in my life, so I was thrilled to come in under 50 minutes," Kambitsis said. "I'm looking forward to the run next year to do even better with my race time and to raise more money for the kids."

Kambitsis said the donation will benefit the Embrace Kids Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to enhancing the quality of life for children with cancer and blood disorders.
